I was recently asked to design a logo for a new company in Sheffield called Strainsonics.
Headed up by an expert in ultrasound technology, this new venture would utilise sound waves to measure stress and strain on large structures in a new and affordable way for engineers and architects. The logo needed to be bold and masculine, and portray a very advanced and precise technology.
The solution was very structural in its appearance and resembled both the letter S and also a section of a sound wave.
