A proactive and ambitious accountancy firm, Numbers pride themselves on making people’s lives better. They encourage their clients to think about the long term benefits of considering their finances in the context of their life and ambitions. Positioning themselves as a high-end and unique proposition in the market, the look and feel needed to feel suitably premium while retaining a personal and human touch. The previous logo featured a simple lower-case ‘n’ that, in equations, can refer to ‘any number’. The client was keen to retain this concept and so we worked on the basis of a hand-drawn, unique letter ‘n’ as a symbol.
From the ‘n’ I developed a fully custom lettered logotype for the full company name in the same style. A series of curved panel devices were created to hold the ‘n’ icon and imply a positive journey, and the colour scheme was adapted from royal blue to a dark charcoal grey, helping to portray the premium nature of the business. A brighter blue was retained to compliment the grey and add vibrancy and a link to the previous identity.
The identity has been completed with a suite of typefaces and images, and applied to signage, stationery, leaflets, brochures, folders full of information and a suitably bold and original website.
